MANILA, Philippines — The government has identified six venues where pediatric vaccination for children 5 to 11 years old will be conducted.
Acting Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Karlo Nograles said the vaccination for the youngsters will be held at the following venues:
- Philippine Heart Center
- Philippine Children’s Medical Center
- National Children’s Hospital
- Manila Zoo
- SM North Skydome in Quezon City
- FilOil Flying V in San Juan City
Aside from the said venues, the Department of Health-NCR said they have also readied more than 30 vaccination sites in Metro Manila for the rollout on Friday.
Meanwhile, Pediatric Infectious Disease Expert Dr. Mary Ann Bunyi has reiterated the importance of having the children vaccinated and the protection it can provide them.
The health expert also said that experiencing side effects after getting inoculated is normal.
Bunyi said the pain in the affected arm, fever, headache, and slightly elevated blood pressure are common minor side effects.
